Aircraft lease company Avolon, headquartered in Ireland, has ordered six
Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners at Farnborough. The commitment marks Avolon's first order for the 787. Avolon provides aircraft leasing and lease management services. Avolon has an owned, managed and committed fleet of 207 aircraft serving 48 customers in 27 countries. Avolon also ordered five additional 737 MAX 9 narrowbodies.
