Etihad Airways has unveiled its new 'Facets of Abu Dhabi' livery on the airline's first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The aircraft was rolled out of the Boeing paint shop in Everett today. The 787 will play a key role in Etihad Airways' fleet and network expansion plans.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline is one of the world's largest 787 customers with a total of 71 Dreamliners on order, including 41 787-9s and 30 787-10s. Etihad's first Dreamliner will be delivered later this year. The first routes on which the aircraft is going to be introduced are Düsseldorf, Doha, Washington D.C., Mumbai, Brisbane and Moscow.
Earlier this week Etihad unveiled its new livery on an Airbus A380 megajet, of which the first example will be delivered later this year too. (Photo: Boeing)
