Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines has launched a new service from Hangzhou via Xi'an, to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport this week. The French capital is Hainan Airlines' fifth route to Europe.
The service will be flown twice a week with Airbus A330-200 aircraft on Thursdays and Sundays. The flight departs from Hangzou on Wednesday (and Saturday) at 20:50 hrs, and from Xi'an at 01:00 hrs. It arrives on Thursday (and Sunday) 06:55 hrs at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport and leaves from there at 14:25 hours. It lands on Friday (and Monday) 6:45 at Xi'an Airport and at 10:50 at Hangzou Airport.
The current year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. Hainan Airlines already flies to the following European destinations: Berlin, Brussels, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
